Before heading to Ubud, you can stop by at Sukawati Art Market. It is one of Bali’s most well-known markets in Bali. You can find variant of Bali’s souvenirs and artworks such as paintings, accessories, clothing, ceremonial items, sarongs,traditional kites, handmade bags, shirts, Balinese ceremonial items, daily local household items and others.

Ubud Art Market or also known as Pasar Seni Ubud is a traditional market that is located in the heart of Ubud, opposite of the Puri Saren Royal Ubud. You can find two markets here,1 side for traditional art market and another side for traditional and basic market requirement.

Located around 1 km away from Ubud Art Market, you can find Jalan Raya Andong. During your trip to the famous Tegalalang ricefield, you can stop by this place. Along the street, you will find many souvenir and furniture shops. This place is famous for those who are looking to buy in large quantity so you will find delivery and shipping service in most of the shops here. The craftsman also live in the village, so you will get to see them in the process of creating an artwork.

Tegalalang mostly is known for its beautiful panorama of rice fields. It is also an alternative marketplace in Ubud area where you can find many shops that sell handicrafts along the main road. Tegalalang is a nice place to visit because besides seeing the beautiful landscapes of Tegalalang, you can stop by the shops to buy some handicrafts. Most of the shops’ customers sell the handicrafts overseas. Tegalalang is about 10 minutes’ drive to the north of Ubud.
